What, in fact,
more welcoming than a “chambres d’hôtes". This label
awarded by les Gîtes de France is the hexagonal equivalent
of the bed and breakfast…with guarantee of quality! Layed
out in or close to a contemporary house, farm, characterful
house, castle, more often in the cosy peaceful country,
”chambres d’hôtes allow to be in contact with local people
in
theirproperties, best way to immerse oneself into the local
life.
All the more,
some of the owners offer, in addition of the unconditionel breakfast,
the diner (sometimes with regional specialities), occasionally
activities and leisures on the spot (swimming pool, bike rampling,
trainings for manufacturing broad, pottery, harnessing, etc). The
regional guide of “chambres d’hôtes” is an explanatory leaflet (with
